Over the past three years, learning music production has completely changed how I think and view life. I used to believe making music was simple, but I quickly realized how many technical skills it takes to complete a single track. Using reverb feels almost like math, and using EQ taught me to delete unnecessary sounds to make the song cleaner. At first, my tracks sounded bad because I followed step-by-step tutorials too closely. While guides are helpful, relying on them too much limited my creativity. Everything changed when I embraced what my favorite musician said: "rules are made to be broken." I began experimenting outside standard formulas—adding key changes, borrowed chords, and 16th-note syncopations to create unexpected rhythms. Breaking these rules made my music feel alive. Ultimately, music proved that anything is possible. It taught me to look at life's challenges as opportunities to break limits and think outside the box.
