My thoughts as an ETPS scholar

It all started in Secondary 2, when I tried my hands at the Intel AI Global Impact Festival, sinking my hands deep into the fields of STEM for the first time. At the same time, I also took part in the Science Buskers' Festival. The Science Buskers Festival inculcated that passion and drive in me for Science projects and self-directed learning, while the Intel AI Global Impact Festival allowed me to taste glory for the first time, in getting 3rd place and first making it into the news. These produced the spark which ignited the burning flame in me to really go all out in pursuing my interests where I continued scoring for competitions, broadening my horizons in STEM and taking on every opportunity which comes my way, involving this scholarship from when I was browsing through the Internet. It goes without saying that I am definitely very proud of being an Engineering & Technology Programme Scholarship scholar, as I feel that all of my work done in especially competitions in Secondary School has finally gotten proper acknowledgement and credit. I feel that this is a testament to my previous efforts in endeavours in the fields of STEM and it motivates me to continue in my humble pursuit for knowledge and to try out new things, such as projects for the Singapore Science & Engineering Fair or even personal self-initiated ones, not tied to competitions.
