July Reflection - What does a Women of Power look like?

Women of Power Prestige Event

I’m really grateful to have the privilege to attend the Women of Power Prestige event and meeting many women founders i look up to like Rachel Lim from Love Bonito (in the photo!) Feon Ang managing director of LinkedIn, ShelovesTech founders and many inspiring leaders too!

Throughout the event I got to learn about their journeys and their takeaways and most importantly what does a women of power look like to them?

I really enjoyed this event and I learnt what a women of power looks like to them is to stay softened in a hardened world and to stay true to who she is.

My 3 key learnings from rachel would be embracing gentle reinvention!
1. Pause - To take time to pause and take a step back to defining what’s true to me
2. Permission - Giving myself permission to feel all the whirling emotions
3. Presence - Being present and to make one small decision for myself at a time

A question for myself I gained was what is one small act that I want to make today.

In summary, I really resonated with rachel’s talk that gentle reinvention is about pausing long enough to hear our own voice and making space for who I’m becoming at my own pace!
