KAWSA Safe Space Summit Experience

This mission has profoundly reshaped my perspective on safety, highlighting that the 'legal teeth' of Republic Act No. 11313 are only as strong as our collective and individual will to uphold them in our daily interactions. I have come to realize that while legislation can penalize misconduct, it cannot inherently instill respect; that part rests with us. It reinforces the vital idea that a space—whether physical or digital—is only truly safe when we move past mere compliance with the law and begin to see the protection of others as a personal, moral imperative. Ultimately, this journey has taught me that creating a culture of dignity is not a passive act of following rules, but an active, ongoing choice to advocate for the peace of mind of every Filipino.
