As a student leader from Rofulo M. Landa High School within SDO Zambales, Region III, I am deeply grateful for the insights gained during this event. I have come to understand that Republic Act No. 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law), is a vital framework designed to uphold equality, security, and safety for everyone. Importantly, I learned that harassment is not gender-specific; it affects men and members of the LGBTQIA+ community just as it does women, highlighting the need for universal protection in our society.
