How to keep my social connections alive with my friends

I met my friend in primary school around primary 3, we started talking to each other and found out that we had something in common as we played the same game, but we never really got close until primary 6 where we started to hangout more as we realised that it was fun hanging out together, after graduating from primary school, we seperated and i made new friends in secondary school, until one day where i reconnected with my primary school friend again and introduced them to each other, which made us very close these years where we still hang out now in the same ite. we connected naturally and grew closer when spending time together
