CLAIM YOU SPACE WEBINAR 2026

The Claim Your Space webinar deepened our understanding of the importance of safe and inclusive environments where everyone, regardless of gender or identity, can speak and be heard without fear. It highlighted how everyday actions and normalized “bastos” culture can harm others, and how we, as student leaders, can challenge these by promoting awareness and respect through RA 11313 Safe Spaces Act and practicing SOGIESC allyship. It inspired us to take active roles in breaking cycles of discrimination and in creating spaces where dignity and equality are upheld.

We are truly grateful to KAWSA Philippines for organizing this meaningful symposium and reminding us that safety is a right and that our voices can create real change in our schools and communities.
