Day7 coming to the end of the journey, days of exploring different parts of bali meeting new people and learning the culture and how businesses are formed from different people in different backgrounds and industries
Exhausted from the hard work put in the day before working on our respective projects and finalising details preparing for our final presentation. Unexpectedly Group 3 was also the first group to go up to present, the anxiety and pressure of being the first but also proud to present the fruits of our labor to everyone. The QNA forces us to think on the spot working quickly on our feet using our own respective skills, forced us to think more deeply into our solution on the who, why and most importantly the how of our idea. Despite this we put up a good effort together believing in our idea and our cause to help the marginalised and unseen society of persons with disabilities.
Excitement. Hearing all the different ideas everyone else came up with learning from them and their presentation styles. Structure and flow, their unique perspectives and solutions to tackle problems faced by both Balienese an Singaporeans based on what we have gone through the past 6 days our understandings coupled with the learning throughout the entire trip. Understanding what everyone has noticed and learned through the days.
Lastly, the exhilaration and thrill, looking back on my experiences this entire trip and looking through my personal growth as well as the friendships and memories I've made throughout the trip was truly heartwarming. A wild ride with a wild bunch of people :))))) Unexpectedly winning the grant to continue our idea. Just a silly idea developed just yesterday through our want and need to tackle the touchy subject of social stigma surrounding persons with disability to allow them to have equal opportunities just like all of us. From an idea into some slides and finally a pitch that can drive change, a problem faced all around the world. To get the chance to turn an idea like this into reality is truly the best.
