Steering Leadership in Action: My Role as Overall-In-Charge of NCC Camp

Taking on the role of Overall-In-Charge for our annual NCC Camp was one of the most defining leadership experiences I’ve had. Tasked with overseeing a 2D1N camp for over 300 cadets, I led a dedicated team of executive committee members and collaborated closely with the planning committee and other Uniformed Groups to ensure smooth coordination from start to finish.

This experience deepened my sense of responsibility and sharpened my ability to lead under pressure, communicate clearly, and foster effective teamwork. From planning logistics to managing on-ground execution, I was actively involved in every stage, which not only challenged me but also strengthened my confidence and leadership instincts.

More than just an event, this camp became a platform where I truly stepped up, adapted, and grew as a leader.
