I completed courses in artificial intelligence (AI) with Excel, Python, and data analysis to enhance my technical skills alongside my studies in Accounting and Finance. In Excel, I learned practical functions and shortcuts that improve efficiency when working with and calculating large amounts of financial data. This included mastering VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and various other data-handling techniques. In Python, I developed foundational coding skills by exploring basic and advanced data types, operators, control structures, as well as handling errors and exceptions. Additionally, I examined how AI can support research, problem-solving, and productivity. I chose to undertake these courses because I recognised the importance of combining my accounting and finance knowledge with technology and data skills, which will enable me to work more efficiently with financial information and facilitate data-driven decision-making in the future.
