CAREER-BUILDING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

A blessed weekend! I am Dhea Mariano, 18 this October. An eldest daughter, eldest niece, and eldest granddaughter. I am a 1st-Year Legal Management student at Bulacan State University, looking forward to proceed to law school and take up bar exam in the future. I am a consistent academic achiever, and also an archer. I worked in a law firm as part of my work immersion during senior high school wherein I prepared and drafted legal documents like counter-affidavit, assisted in filing cases in courts, observed witnesses take their oath, and went to several regional trial courts.

Today, October 17, at Guiguinto Municipal Athletic and Cultural Center in Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan, together with River Valley Irregulars, we had a free career-building and personal development workshop. I realized or it hit me that I've been so fixated on looking ahead at the future i planned for myself that I forgot to pause and appreciate who I am right now. I learned that what I'm doing today will shape the path I will be taking in the future, may it be for growth or for worse.
