How I became an RPD Planner for EOY J-Culture Festival

I have always been a fan of K-pop and dancing(specifically SVT as a Carat HAHAHA). Since young I've always watched played videos where they will play many different K-pop songs which we will remember the dance to and dance with others. I then continued on with school where my CCA friends decided to perform with an RPD style type of video. It was really fun choosing the audio and planning the video style.

I then started growing up and became an admin of K-pop RPD Group called Iris(irisesgroup on IG/TikTok). The founder of Iris recruited me after hearing my experience in K-pop RPDs and I have become a member who does most of the technical aspects for the group like emceeing events and making the audio.

It was an amazing experience started my first official RPD. Sadly due to school most of the members had to go on hiatus(a break). But we've been feeling a bit restless and brought up to 2 events for if they are interested in having us perform and RPD with the audiences.

The first event agreed as they are a fully K-pop event but since EOY is a J-Culture festival which do allow subtle K-pop, we knew we had to collaborate with a J-pop RPD Planner. Luckily, I am in contact with the planner of the first EOY RPD and asked if they would be able to collaborate with us which they agreed to.

Now we are currently getting ready for the EOY RPD and it has been a really amazing journey since the start and I can't wait for more events!
