Today, the lack of sleep is kinda hitting me hard. In the morning, my mind was so fuzzy, the questions I asked were not very clear and even I wasn't sure what I was saying at that time. So I guess sleep is very important hehe. But today really was that 1 chill day, complete relaxation. I was hanging out with Htoon, Aung and Wayne. They are all so chill. Like, we talked about school life and other stuff but the most fun part was when we were talking about deep things like the fish we just chose came straight from the fish tank and is now being killed and cooked for us. We came to the sad conclusion that life is basically the same way, the bigger "fish/human" eats the smaller fish. It is a tough world we will be entering when we enter the industry and this was just a re-emphasis on that. Other than that, today was the first time I saw Jotham put so much work into a project/task. He is my classmate and I have been pretty open with what I think about him. I feel like he is the street smart kinda guy that you want to be best friends with but not your grades with. He told me he understands that and during this trip, he shared with me why. In secondary 2, 1 day he just felt that he doesn't like to study and he wanted to create a business so that he can be his own boss. He doesn't like to bossed around. So in school, I don't really have him in my priority list in studies. However, the amount of effort he put into making this slide at some points really made me see him in a different light and made me admire him and his skill sets. He may not have a high GPA but he sure as hell can make a business run and make networks with people and find partners. Everyone else also showed me a different side of them that I did not see during the trip. Normally, everyone is very sleepy, lazy and bored. But today, although a lot of people felt lazy after some time, they still put in so much effort. In the future, I want to participate in more hackathons in the future to meet more of such people and just observe how they work. Its crazy how everyone suddenly becomes so active when it comes to creative thinking of how to start up a new business and pitch in within a few days.
