Tri-nity: a stool from plastic and wood

The brief: Join two different materials into a load-bearing stool using new joinery. My role: Sketched ten concepts and tested five scale models. Built the stool by hand from 70% recycled plastic and 30% reclaimed wood, with the joinery left visible as the feature.
