I recently did a musical as an actor and dancer for ITE The Musical "Beyond The Classroom". We started in December 2024 and were all excited. I got into acting because of my friend's Film project about Gambling addiction, it was about 2 years ago when i helped my friend with his project and fell in love for acting. I acted as the main role in my friends Film project and it was surprisingly fun, though late nights it was overall enjoyable to the core. After we were done with the whole filming I found myself that I have fallen for the art of acting. When the whole production was done including the editing and voice overs, I was given tons of praises by everyone of the crew members and their teacher in charge. Even friends from different classes that I know saw it and were all very impressed. I later on then posted the video a year later due to unavailability of the video into social media and it really blew up so thats when I decided that I would go down the career path of acting. Come what may, somewhere around October everyone was told about the auditions of ITE The Musical "Beyond The Classroom" and I was the first to agree to partake in the auditions as a first step down my career path of acting. I signed up for the audition and my audition during November. There were hundreds of audition participants and i was part of the lucky 30 to have gotten accepted. When I audition for the musical the requirements were as followed, Prepare a song to sing and they would give us a script to read and act out. For me I sang a song Grant Gustin Sang the song was Running Home To You it is a beautiful song sang from the heart of a hero in the show he acted in. Over the months that all of us in the musical we had tons of rehearsals over and over pushing our own boundaries to make our acting skills better. We were even taught by wild rice themselves. We managed to overcome all the hardships we had the awkward like hand holding as lovers and the dancing we had to do for every scene.
