My first Cathedral Ring CAD design!

Here’s a look at my latest CAD jewellery design. As an amateur designer, l’m always inspired by how a simple idea can be transformed into a detailed 3D model ready for the next stage of creation.

Therefore, I have been diving into CAD focusing on Jewellery Design. It has been an exciting and fun journey and I am loving it. It feels different from hand drawing as it’s more technical and I need to engineer the design with exact dimensions, tolerances and production-skills.

CAD designing helps bring together creativity + precision by
- experimenting with different stone settings and proportions,
- visualising how metals and gems interact in real space,
- preparing designs that are both aesthetic and production-ready.

This piece reflects my journey of learning, refining and building towards my goal of launching a jewellery brand rooted in craftsmanship and innovation.
