Yesterday, I had the privilege of conducting an offline Mover Workshop on Youth Political Participation with the support of the local community and Disha Foundation.
What made this session truly special was engaging with school students from classes 6th to 10th, young minds full of questions, curiosity, and ideas about the world around them.
Through interactive discussions, activities, and real-life examples, we explored:
🔹 Why youth voices matter in decision-making
🔹 How political participation is not just about voting, but about being active, informed citizens
🔹 Ways in which even school students can contribute to community change
The energy in the room was inspiring—students not only shared their thoughts but also challenged the notion that politics is “for adults only.” Their perspectives reminded me that democracy thrives when the youngest voices are heard and included.
A heartfelt thank you to Disha Foundation for making this possible and to the community for their warmth and support.
