I was involved at The Car Expo 2025 2nd Edition as an intern at IIDEAS Ptd Ltd.

I was able to be a part of the project from the start until the end, overseeing the process of how the whole event started and learned how to manage clients until the end where we were able to provide after service.

Working on The Car Expo 2025 (2nd Edition) together with SPH Media was a highly dynamic and demanding experience that strengthened both my operational and client management skills. As part of the event company team, I was deeply involved in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including exhibitors, vendors, and the main organisers. Managing client expectations was a key aspect of my role, as I must ensure clear communication, address to any last-minute changes, and provide practical solutions under tight timelines, which had helped maintain strong working relationships throughout the project.

On the operations side, I oversaw both the setup and teardown phases, which required detailed planning and precise execution. During setup, I coordinated logistics such as booth construction, electrical layouts, and branding installations, ensuring everything aligned with the event requirements and safety standards, and made sure everything was kept tightly to schedule as cars were involved, we had to make sure every movement was monitored tightly and extremely safe before we could allow the movement. This phase demanded close supervision on-site, quick problem-solving, and adaptability when facing unforeseen challenges.

Teardown was equally critical, requiring efficient coordination to ensure a smooth and timely dismantling process while minimising disruption to the venue. I also worked closely with vendors to manage schedules, equipment removal, and site clearance, ensuring all contractual obligations were met.

Overall, this project enhanced my ability to multitask in high-pressure environments, strengthened my communication skills, and deepened my understanding of large-scale event execution.
