my passion for music

my passion for music started with my dad. when i was young he would always play rap or hip hop music. so naturally i was into it. as i grow up my base for music grew, always listening to variuos genres finding and understanding the meaning behind every song. i even tried to mix some in my free time. thats how the nickname "DJ Drax" was formed. to be very honest, i cant live without music. its a must for me to bring my headphones everytime i leave the house.

as i went to ite, i was searching for a cca to get into. i searched and found this cca called batidas centro it is a cca about brazilian percussion. i was interested because my brother was in a cca similar to this and he really enjoyed it so i was curious why is he so invested into this type of cca. i joined eventually and me being me i was so engrossed in the music genre. the music is so groovy and raw to the core as they use traditional instruments from brazil.

as i journey through the cca, i became part of the EXCO team as a section leader and logistics this helped me to be more outgoing. as section leader i have to teach and inspire the people. music is about the people and the vibes why? if there is no people there will be no music and if the vibe is not there the music will also be not there. the photo above is only 1 photo in a sea of memories that are so precious to me. it was when i performed with my cca at the world drum night@republic polytechnic. this is my biggest and most prestigious show i have ever performed. i plan to continue this passion of mine to greater heights. thank you for reading :D
