Beginning this year, I started to figuring out something new. For some reasons, I saw a video of a Pokemon TCG event online. It was not just ordinary card trade event but there is more that I could see from it. It showed me how a simple card could move thousands of people with the same interest together, which is Pokemon.
So that got me thinking: How would it be if I brought that experience to the class? Do the students could be possibly more enggageful with what they're currently learning through gamified learning activities like TCG?
And that's why, I started to develop my own TCG card that I can use in the class. Even though, there are a lot of things to consider and couples of challenges that I have encountered so far. I think the students would love it, because I believe that as long as I enjoy it as a way to learn something new especially languages, they would love it as well, right?
