2024 has been a long rollercoaster ride for me and I just wanted to look back at all the experiences that have impacted my life amazingly:

In 2009, I got my very first experience as a NITEC student in ITE College Central (Bishan) to Host the Largest Business Etiquette Record event in lieu of the 2010 Youth Olympic Games Singapore inauguration with the presence of our guest of honour Mr. Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development, Youth and Sports, and Transport. It was so nerve wrecking for me to host in front of almost 300 students and adults, despite being hailed by my teachers as "the girl with the gift-of-the-gab". Not sure how I pulled it off, but man, that really boost my confidence in public speaking.

Later on as an adult, COVID took its toll especially in 2020 where my previous company, Neuron Mobility, had to scram to put in place work-from-home policies and how to boost staff morale while being isolated. Being in the Customer Service industry for 10 years and leading my team members as a Quality Assurance Specialist & Trainer, I knew I had to build my team's confidence. Conducting "COVID vs. Mental Health" mini-workshop and huddle sessions for my team helped everyone understand the deeper meaning of mental health and how our weaknesses can really affect us if we don't work on our strengths.

Fast forward to March 2024, I'm back again where I belong - ITE, the Home of The Innovators - volunteering as an Alumni and Guest Speaker, incorporation with SINDA Youths Club at ITE College Central (Ang Mo Kio). Although, this time I was at a different location, ITE always felt like home. Filled with potential, smiling students, brilliant minds and never ending memories. It was an honour to share my life experiences with the students, understanding their struggles and how to overcome them, and to hear the amazing stories of other guest speakers from River Valley Irregulars as well. It really changed my outlook on how we're not just people living our lives, we impact and serve others with our lives and knowledge.
