My Experience

As a participant of the CAYA Fellowship Program workshop, I gained valuable insights into how the fellowship is structured and how it aims to support youth in their professional and personal development. The session began with an interactive introduction that allowed us to get familiar with the program, its objectives, and the inclusive approach it follows. We engaged in live polls and interactive discussions, which created a participatory and welcoming environment. One of the key takeaways was learning how to create and maintain a professional portfolio on the RVI (Rural Voices Initiative) platform. This portfolio will not only help us document our progress but also serve as a medium to connect with other fellows and potential partner organizations. The workshop emphasized the importance of networking, self-presentation, and active engagement, setting a strong foundation for our journey throughout the fellowship.
