Movers youth political participation session

The Movers Session on Youth Political Participation reshaped my view of young people’s role in decision making. It’s not enough to just be present we need genuine inclusion, where youth are heard, trusted, and empowered to create change.

Politics is more than parties or elections; it’s in every decision shaping our communities. Our voices matter not just as “the future,” but as stakeholders in the present. True participation begins when we stop waiting for permission and start creating spaces where our voices set the agenda.
