Internship Journey at Werable

My main task at Werable was to create a seamless and secure snap magnetic fasteners so that people with varying dexterity can wear their clothing easily. Such project allowed me to conduct research on inclusive fashion and levels of mobility for patients, including those who have experienced a stroke, and explore various mechanical methods that can be applied to magnetic closures. I was given an opportunity to discuss with teammates and apply biomedical engineering knowledge to this project. Gaining practical experiences, I was exposed to different aspects and perspectives. As it was my first internship, every moment was intriguing!
