𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘: 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧 🇵🇭 The Role of Women, Men, and LGBTQIA+ in the Movement for Safe Spaces.

Although I was not able to attend through Microsoft Teams or Zoom, that did not stop me from participating in this meaningful summit. I still joined by watching through Facebook Live, listening carefully, and taking notes from the important discussion about RA 11313, also known as the Safe Spaces Act or “Bawal Bastos Law.” It reminded me that learning can still happen even through different platforms when you are eager to participate.

RA 11313 is a law that protects everyone—women, men, and LGBTQIA+ individuals—from gender-based sexual harassment. It covers schools, workplaces, public spaces, transportation, and even online platforms where many cases also happen today. This law proves that every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and protected wherever they are.

One of my biggest takeaways is the importance of spreading awareness so more people will understand their rights and responsibilities. Respect should always be given regardless of gender identity, expression, or background. Let us continue to claim our spaces and build a community where everyone feels valued, heard, and safe.
