Internship event

During my 10 weeks internship at LionBefrienders i get to participate in planning and execute a event, TechCare Symposium, where experts from university or companies will come together and discuss about Technology Care towards elderly and the society.

During the event, i was in charge for the food buffet section where i have to ensure that everyone gets their food and line up in order so that it wont be messy. One of the challenges face during this event is that there were too much leftovers after event, so my colleagues and i suggested that we can pack some back for the elderlies in the active ageing center or other colleagues in the office, so that we wont have to waste so much foods.

I learned that communication skills is very important during this type of event, as i have to be very careful and really think what is appropriate to say to the participants and some of the clients.
