i was in a music video for my cca's april cca fair showcase. the whole of my cca and i took part in this project.
it was my batch and i's first project since joining for 3 months so the process sounded stressful, intimidating and new. i was hoping that i would look professional and cool in the video so we had practice three times a week or even extra to really make sure that our project will be good. the seniors had us dance to see which of part we will be given and we also had to do multiple takes on the filming day to get the perfect angles.

on our last practice before filming, we had to show our performance to the seniors to let them see our teamwork as a crew. a senior pointed me out with some members saying that our performance wasn't giving enough so we had to let the whole cca watch us perform one more time. the rest then gave feedback which i tried my best to apply the next try even though i was flustered and scared. i took their feedback open mindedly instead of taking it as judgement as i knew it was for my own good. i also took it positively as i wanted to do my best for my crew and i in order not to effect our image and performance as a whole.

after their feedback, i learnt that i had to have sharper and more precise moves together with more feeling as they said that we looked like we're being forced to dance instead of really having fun. i also learned resilience as even though they gave harsh feedback, i didnt give up because of my passion and love for dance. i also learned to be more open minded and not their harsh words to heart but to mind as it is for my own good.

i was thankful for their advice as it was what made the whole project a success as i didnt have any regrets after.
