During my 3 months internship from July 2025-September 2025, I was in a company called FunEmpire and was an event facilitator for games and workshop events.

When I first started at FunEmpire, it was difficult for me as we are required to learn everything for the company games and workshop. The trainer would organise training sessions during first few days of work and told us there would be assessment to access if we learnt the basic skills for games and workshops to be an event facilitator. There are also multiple games and workshops that we have to learnt and remember in a short period of time which is very stressful for me, at that point of time I am just hoping that I could remember the basics to pass the assessment.

My job role is actually an event facilitator that are more towards customer service job. For example in every event, there would be head facilitator and co-facilitators. As a Head facilitator, we would need to interact and discuss with the client about the event that they have booked with our company and we need to ask if they have any preferences or requirements for the event. If they have any preferences, we would try to think of solution for us to properly execute the event to ensure the client are satisfied with it. Co facilitators is mainly coordinate and follow the head facilitator instructions.

During this internship, I learnt to step out of my comfort zone and how to communicate well.
