In my reflection, KAWSA Philippines stands as a support system for filipino youth and a wake up call to see everyone as equal. It reminds me that people, including the lgbtq+ community, deserve respect because identity is personal. You can’t define someone’s gender because you are not them, you are only yourself. Equality starts with how we choose to understand and treat one another.
