During my senior high school days, we worked on our research about turning fallen leaves into biogas and it didn't only became more than just a scientific project, but also a journey of learning and growth. Living in the city, we wanted to make use of the resources around us and find a way to conserve energy through something as simple as fallen leaves. Throughout the process, I learned that research is not always smooth; it requires patience, critical thinking, and resilience. We faced many trials and errors, as well as misunderstandings within the group, but those challenges taught me the importance of teamwork, communication, and perseverance. In the end, successfully producing biogas that could light a fire was not just a proof of concept, but a reminder that innovation comes from persistence and the willingness to learn from our previous trials and mistakes.
