The session was both energizing and inspiring! Despite internet restrictions in my village, I managed to participate through polls, breakout rooms, and chats — and I’m glad I didn’t give up.
A few key takeaways for me:
I had the chance to interact in a breakout room with two other fellows — one from Bangladesh and one from India. Despite the political tensions between our countries, our respectful and joyful conversation gave me a great kind of smile 😊. It reminded me that people can still connect with peace and respect beyond borders.
I learned how advocacy is not only about speaking, but about building community, listening, and taking action together.
The importance of digital platforms like River Valley Irregular in making collaboration across regions possible.
