We started the day at a coffee plantation where they explained the process of how luwak coffee was made and we saw a civet. We tried luwak coffee tasted many other teas too, I really liked the rosella and mangosteen tea as well as the hot cocoa. After that, we went to the rice plantation (Agung Raka Resort) and attended a talk, we then had to come up with a problem statement and a solution, in which my group decided on the problem statement that Bali weather was too hot and our solution was a vibrating piezoelectric mini fan made with recycled plastics from the landfield. After presenting our ideas, we had lunch and then went to collect compost and went to the rice paddy field. We went into the mud and planted rice. It was such a fun and interesting experience as we were knee deep in mud and it was the first time I was witnessing how rice was planted. We were all dirty after and went to shower, then headed to ubud art market and we did some shopping, I got a I love bali shirt as well as 2 pants and a gift for my friend. We ended of with dinner at Bebek Bengil Ubud and the place was really serene and nice, dinner was great with good company.
