The first week in Singapore!!

God, this has been crazy and fun...

During this first week as an Intern at RVI, I have met many people and discovered different aspects of myself, some weaknesses and some strengths I did not think about in the past. Overall I enjoyed the time I spent around the city while I challenged myself to a place I hardly relate to in many aspects.

The first weekend before the beginning of the internship I explored the southern Ridges, this was my discovery of the beautiful nature that Singapore has. I settled in and started with a chill day knowing everything about RVI and the Potato Productions group. The week ended and I felt the lack of my Latino people, it was hard but over the weekend I could internalize that I came here to find new and more exciting things. Get to know more about a different culture and lifestyle and learn.

For the weekend I had my first night out at Zouk with the other interns (this was really fun and needed).

The rest of the weekend was to rest and enjoy more nature at the National Botanical Gardens where I met new people! Finally, I could practice more in spontaneous situations my French with some Belgians at the Gardens and then I found someone from Spaaaaain. I could recognize her accent and immediately we started talking about each other in our language; along with her, a new Singaporean friend was made!

I spent the Sunday with them and head home to rest for the second week of the internship!

As I said before, the week was challenging but it got better and definitely the rest of my time here has to be the best.
