Passion in Biological Sciences

I took triple science in secondary school and found that I enjoyed biology the most out of all the subjects, studying for the others felt like a chore sometimes but most of the time I looked forward to studying biology.

In secondary 2, my geography was stressed about our school garden and it’s lack of maintenance (lack of involvement) and that lead me to start helping out in the garden and gain an interest in gardening and nature in general, which further deepened my interest in biology.

Later when I chose to study biology in JC, topics like genetics, stem cells and cancer piqued my interest and realised that this subcategory was something I was interested in and was something I wanted to pursue at a higher level - university

I particularly an interested in pursuing research in this field such as doing lab works and or academia in it.
