Why I choose English Drama as my CCA.

Fiction is to be applied, non fiction is to be derived.

In a world where unfairness and unjust goes unnoticed, English Drama provides a stage to express those realities, to tell the untold stories that matter and to cultivate a sense of belonging and relatability amongst everyone regardless of differences.

My strong stance in my beliefs stems from reviewing and analyzing current affairs. Additionally, this has led to wanting to advocate for causes that I strongly believe in. But as an average 17 old student, and given the voice I am entitled to, magnifying that voice may be a struggle.

English Drama isn’t just a CCA, it is an amplifier. The stage is a microphone and it amplifies causes through a fictional script. Incorporated values in our play can be picked up and applied in our lives, bringing about a new perspective for all.
