AI Mugshot Photo Taking App (Yue Long)

I created an AI-powered Mugshot App as a Capstone Project with my team. At the start, we were hesitant beginners with only basic Python knowledge. We assigned clear roles and committed to weekly sprints, which helped us stay on track and steadily build a full-stack solution.

Through the project, we mastered new technologies such as Docker and Gradio, and developed strong skills in computer vision and optimization. We also learned to handle team challenges — from resolving merge conflicts to adapting based on user feedback and making agile pivots when necessary.

More than the technical achievements, this experience transformed how we saw collaboration. We discovered how effective teamwork could turn
classroom concepts into real-world tools. The project also deepened our appreciation for ethical AI development and taught us the iterative nature of creating meaningful innovations.
