Let me tell you about the time I slid into someone's DMs on TikTok and it actually changed my life.

I was scrolling through career advice content when I stumbled upon Jose's videos about acing interviews and landing your dream job. His approach was different: authentic, practical, no-nonsense.

So I did what any aspiring professional would do. I sent him a message asking if he had any internship opportunities.

To my surprise, he said yes.

I joined the Center for Leaders, where Jose served as Executive Director. He trained me into doing virtual works, throwing me into the deep end of email management, project coordination, and strategic administrative work.

For three months, I learned what it really means to support leadership, manage priorities, and execute with excellence.

Jose isn't your typical mentor who just assigns tasks and calls it "training". He invests in you.

He sees potential you didn't even know you had and pushes you to rise to it. He doesn't just teach you skills.

He opens doors, makes introductions, and genuinely cares about where you land after working with him.

And that's exactly what happened.

Thanks to his mentorship and recommendation, I secured my current role as Marketing & Communications at River Valley Irregulars where, full circle moment, Jose now serves as Outreach & Programme Coordinator.

It's a position that perfectly blends everything I learned under his guidance, and I get to continue learning from him in a professional capacity.

Jose's mission has always been clear: help his mentees not just gain experience, but actually get hired.

And he walks the talk.

If you're looking for someone who will challenge you, champion you, and genuinely change the trajectory of your career, Jose Noel Syguia is that person.

So yeah, sliding into his DMs? Best career move I ever made.
