Safe S.P.A.C.E: Secured Public Areas for the Communities of the Earth

I may not have continued my participation in the Microsoft Teams, but I changed my platform in Facebook live to still follow the discussion. Learning about the RA 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act is a useful lesson to protect the people of any gender identity from harassment. Here, I've learned that everyone can be a victim of perpetrators, but everyone can be a voice to defend the victims of it. Harrassment is not based solely on gender, it doesn't only happen to women, it affects all genders, which is why we should be sensitive of what we say to others.

KAWSA Philippines' platform became a safe space for everyone to understand that there is a law that protects victims of harrassment. Together with the other delegates, I learned that being a student leader doesn't only circulate in doing events or projects, it should also aim to create a SAFE SPACE for the youth and keep them away from the harm brought by predators.
