Behind the Post

Serving as a Public Relations Officer (Writer) for the Political Science department under the College of Arts and Sciences at Liceo de Cagayan University was a meaningful opportunity to combine communication, strategy, and responsibility in one role.

As part of the department’s PR team, I was responsible for crafting written content, announcements, and official communications that reflected our organization’s voice and values. In addition, I managed and handled our social media platforms, ensuring timely updates, clear messaging, and consistent engagement with our audience.

This experience strengthened my skills in professional writing, digital communication, content planning, and audience engagement. It also taught me the importance of clarity, accuracy, and accountability when representing a department.

Being entrusted with shaping how our department communicated publicly was both a challenge and a privilege. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute behind the scenes and help amplify our collective work. ⚖️💜
