Wake me up When September Ends….

September has come to an end & looking back, I’m so blessed that September is quite slow compared to previous months.

Overall, I’m quite content with my progress as an ambassador & as an intern! Speaking of ambassador, I had an amazing time at Friday Fries Night as a facilitator. Compared to my first session, I got used to my style of letting the ball roll around the room & ensuring everyone’s accounted for in the conversation, and letting Ernest shadow me gave me the push I needed to show a good example of how human library works (although he accidentally facilitated at the start 😭).

I also learned how to set up the logistics and spaces (thanks to Daryl!), communicating with the MC and more! I’m grateful that FFN went smoothly, I felt accomplished and content after seeing how the session run down!

Outside of RVI, I felt that I have improved so much when it comes to work. From communication to improvising, it’s a never-ending cycle to learn new things. This September will be my last work month before I head back to school (I can still return back for OT🤑)! All I hope for school term is I will have a smooth learning journey ,make lots of friends in the process and #yolo outside of school & work!

There may be a lot going on but I’ve spent more time with my family than last month! Had a family day alongside both my sisters’ bfs (#FOMO) and I got really burnt to crisps, sun’s aura mogged me real bad. To end it off, I hope all the things I’m manifesting for will come true !
