National Youth Summit had started on April 18, 2026— composing almost all regions of student leaders, journalist, or anyone interested to lead with wisdom, honesty, and resillience.
The NYS is about KAWSA PHILIPPINES helding an online seminar throughout G-MEET, TEAMS, or ZOOM— The theme is CLAIM YOUR SPACE: The Role of Men, Women, and LGBTQIA+ In The Movement for Safe Spaces. It's lectures about the rights of any men, women, or any gender you call yourself— lectures about a one Republic Act.
RA 11313: BAWAL BASTOS LAW. Initiating that anyone who gets harassed has the rights to refuse— men, women, trans, anyone who had experience it. Harassment isn't supposed to be ignored— because once it was, your dignity will eventually be disregarded. Dignity is what every people live on, you have the right to learn, the rights to fight, the rights to eat, you are basically free when you have your "Dignity". Therefore, little actions shouldn't be ignored because they are the beginning of down falls.
This seminar does not only focuses on harassment, it also focuses how people treat each other. From respecting higher levels to disrespecting those some think are low levels. These aren't the mindsets we should have, everyone is equal— stated in the seminar.
This seminar didn't just discussed but it has also shaped the mindsets of the people who are in it. The leaders, the journalist, or even educators can share these words to the Youth— it won't only help shape the Youth's mind but with proper guidance, with proper education— maybe just maybe harassment or inequality towards people will be minimized.
