Styling Artists @ Earthopia

I had an amazing opportunity to style 5 local bands, equating to 13 artists, who performed at Earthopia, a youth sustainability festival! What made it special was that they were decked out, head to toe, in secondhand fashion. Curating their performance pieces that were cohesive with their band aesthetic, exploring their personal style and that fitted them flatteringly was challenging, especially when hunting in a thrift store.

Thankfully, the artists were willing to be adventurous and had fun layering unique fashion pieces together. As they sang on stage, they showed that circular fashion can be trendy and cool, and I hope they reframed their audience's perspective of what fashion waste could be.
