"Negosyo Tayo, Ano Tara? - Your Voice Matters Workshop"

I had the opportunity to attend the "Negosyo Tayo, Ano Tara? – Your Voice Matters! Workshop," and it was both an insightful and enjoyable experience.

One of the highlights of the workshop for me was the self-discovery activity, particularly writing my personal bio and completing the reflection worksheet. It encouraged me to pause, reflect on who I am, identify my strengths, and think about the kind of person I aspire to become.

The most valuable lesson I took away from the workshop is that before others can truly get to know you, you must first know yourself. Understanding our goals, personality, values, and aspirations is the foundation of building a strong personal brand. Self-awareness is the first step in creating a meaningful portfolio that genuinely reflects who we are and what we can offer.

The workshop also emphasized the importance of creating a well-prepared CV and portfolio as essential tools for presenting ourselves professionally and standing out in future career opportunities. In addition, I learned that building connections and expanding our network are just as important. The relationships we establish today can open doors and create opportunities that will benefit us in the future, especially when applying for jobs and pursuing our careers.

I left the event with valuable insights, greater confidence, and a clearer vision of my personal and professional goals. As an accountancy student, experiences like this motivate me to continue learning, growing, and striving to become the best version of myself.
