Sourcing Materials I researched and gathered relevant content on phishing scams, including real-life examples, statistics, and educational resources. These materials were used to create informative displays and interactive activities that helped the public better understand the dangers of online scams.
Team and Location Coordination I helped assign team members to different awareness booth locations, with some set up on campus and others in public areas. This allowed us to reach a wider audience and ensured smooth operations at all booths.
Activity Planning: Scam Fishing Game I co-designed an interactive “fishing game” where participants used magnetic fishing rods to catch different types of scams. Each fish represented a specific scam, such as job scams or parcel scams, which we used as conversation starters to educate players in a fun and engaging way.
Awareness Board Design We created eye-catching boards with key facts, tips, and QR codes linking to more resources. I contributed ideas for the design and layout to ensure the visuals were clear, informative, and effective at attracting attention.
