I know for myself that I suck at a lot of things. I'm frustrated, but I try my best.

But if I keep on saying and imbibing that my best will never be enough when I know for myself I'm not lacking in effort -- probably just born with the wrong "stats" (I'm disabled) in the wrong "server" (Philippines) -- I might fall into the slippery slope of individualizing my struggles instead of acknowledging the systemic barriers that nerf(ed) me and other fellow disabled peeps.

Sometimes advocating for yourself is the start of a movement that encourages others to also advocate for themselves and speak from their lived experiences as an individual navigating a rigged system that has been rusting on and on and on for years/decades/centuries.

Today, I will ditch the usual copium and take some hopium instead. It turns out I already have something to work with and improve on. :)
