Leadership, to me, is an essential skill to have. Without a leader it's harder to navigate and organize. My role as the president of the PSL group was to organize and plan events and meetings for the school and my committee. You might be thinking, "How did I get this role?" I wasn't the most studious or most well-behaved student; what really stood out about me was my social skills and my energy. I had a lot of friends in secondary school so I had a lot of influence on my peers; therefore, putting me as PSL president would make it easier to positively impact the school.
