MY EXPERIENCE AT KAWSA's 2026 CLAIM YOUR SPACE SUMMIT!

KAWSA Philippines hosted a national webminar along side with thousands of delegates just this 18th of April.
The whole experience was flabbergasting, being my first time attending such an event. Even though we had technical issues connecting to Microsoft Teams and Zoom, I was happy that KAWSA thought of an alternative—the facebook live. It shows how KAWSA really wants us delegates attend, and that already says a lot about the organization itself. From the start, sir (di ko na po remember pangalan) discussed about the bawal bastos law, and it's refreshing because as a mamayan I really don't know much about it and I'm grateful that many more students like me were able to learn about especially because it's our right. And for the second session naman po it was more fun, because not only was the discussion about gender and sex, but also made me think about my friend that are part of the LGBTQIA community. Over all, I'm thankful that KAWSA did whatever they can for us kabataans to learn more and CLAIM OUR SPACE! I hope to see KAWSA more in the future!
