Leading with Science, Powered by Purpose

As the President of Kinnaird Science Club, I wasn’t just managing a club, I was leading a movement. From representing my college at national and international science competitions to actually winning them as the head of our delegation, every moment became a masterclass in youth leadership, strategic planning, and empowerment.

One of my proudest achievements? Curating the Annual Science Club Newsletter, a full-spectrum editorial piece that spotlighted student research, innovation, and stories that mattered. I envisioned it as more than just a publication it was a platform that gave science a voice on campus.

I also conceptualized and led our original creative event: “Environmental Fiction: Invest in Our Planet” a writing competition designed to fuse climate advocacy with storytelling, showing how imagination can be a force for environmental action.

My commitment to science advocacy didn’t stop at campus gates. I served as the Seminar Lead for an impactful university-wide session on ADHD Awareness, breaking stigma and sparking conversations about neurodiversity in academic spaces.

I proudly led initiatives and collaborations with Pakistan’s premier science outreach body the Khwarizmi Science Society, encouraging hands-on learning and exposure for young students. This connection also led me to participate in Lahore Science Mela, an internationally recognized celebration of science for the public, where I represented the spirit of youth-led engagement on a national scale.

Through it all, I discovered my real power: empowering youth especially girls, to take up space in STEM with courage, creativity, and confidence. This journey didn’t just shape my leadership it ignited my purpose to create spaces where science is inclusive, expressive, and revolutionary.
