🇸🇬❤️ Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore!
This National Day feels especially meaningful for me and the entire River Valley Irregulars (RVI) Team.
To see RVI featured as part of Singapore’s 61st National Day celebrations is a milestone I don’t think I’ll forget anytime soon. What started as an idea to create more opportunities, spaces and connections for young people has grown into something that we now get to share on a national stage. 🥹❤️
And somehow, it feels even more special that on 9 August, we also get to show you RVI on our new platform — a new chapter for us, built on everything we’ve learned and everyone who has believed in this journey.
RVI has never been the work of one person. It belongs to the youths who showed up, the team who kept building, the partners who took a chance on us, the mentors who guided us, and the friends and community who kept cheering us on — even when what we were trying to build sounded a little crazy. 😂

Being part of NDP 2026 is not just a proud RVI moment. For me, it is a reminder of what Singapore can be when we give young people the space to try, contribute, create and build something of their own.
Here’s to the irregular ones, the dreamers, the doers, and every young person finding their own way to contribute to our little red dot. 🇸🇬
This moment is also especially meaningful because of the people I’ve had the privilege of growing and learning alongside — including our NSF guys like Ryan! ❤️🇸🇬
I want to dedicate this moment to all the incredible people working behind the scenes of NDP — people like Ryan, Robby, Jane and the entire team. So much of what Singapore sees on 9 August is made possible by people who give their time, energy and heart behind the scenes.
Thank you for letting me learn from you, grow alongside you, and be part of something so much bigger than ourselves. This one is for all of you too. 🇸🇬❤️
