first workshop of the CAYA Fellowship was more than just a session it felt like a soft and empowering welcome into a space I already feel grateful for. From interactive polls to calming breathing exercises everything was thoughtfully curated to bring us into the moment.

The breakout rooms offered beautiful glimpses into the lives of my fellows we shared the beliefs we’re unlearning and the small highs and lows of our week. It reminded me that growth is collective and stories are bridges.

I especially loved how the session emphasized building our portfolios through RVI not just as a technical tool but as a reflection of who we are and what we aim to do. The reminder to hydrate during the workshop? A wholesome touch that made me feel seen.

I’m walking away from this first session feeling energized, inspired and excited to continue this journey ready to learn, connect and contribute to meaningful change across Asia and beyond.
